FFA Educational Tours

Beginning in 2024, we opened our very unique URBAN farm to educational tours.  We are unlike any other site that you will visit.  Guided on a tractor ride by a Purdue Ag Alumni, you are carried through a diverse you-pick berry farm and large landscape operation with firewood production.  Students learn about the most pioneering growing methods in fruit production.  Your students get to enter 13,000 square feet of greenhouse space and see the mechanisms operate that produce flowers.  See some of the most pioneering patented growing methods in fruit today.  They will also see significant mechanization in firewood production, all while learning a little bit of history.  OWLS love to come here, as we have been told.  We have been touted as the most interesting educational experience for FFA Students.  Capable of handling the rain or sun, come see us during your convention week.
