Book Your Field Trip With Driving Wind Farm!
At Driving Wind Berry Farm, we offer a unique experience that combines learning and fun. Our farm provides field trips and educational services for children and adults. Visitors can learn the history of the farm, why bees are important for our farm, how we grow our berries, how to grow flowers, how pumpkins grow (when in season) and the importance of sustainable farming.
We offer a wide variety of berries, including strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries. Whether you are a family looking for a educational activity or a school looking for a field trip opportunity, our farm has something for everyone. Come and join us for a fun and educational experience.
Student Lunch Options:
1. Ham and cheese sandwich, Lays chips, and a bottled water. $5.50 per student
2. Turkey and cheese sandwich, Lays chips, and a bottled water. $5.50 per student
3. Peanut Butter and Jelly, Lays chips and a bottled water. $4.50 per student

Guided Educational Tour- Hop on for a scenic tour of our expansive property. Our wagon rides are a fun way to enjoy the great outdoors, learn about the history of the farm, and see the farm in action. Wagon ride tours hold 20-25 people. The first wagon ride is $100. Each additional wagon ride is $75. About 20-30 minutes.

Flower Education- Discover the secrets to cultivating beautiful blooms at home. This program offers practical tips and tricks, perfect for budding gardeners. Students will plant and take home their own flower. $7 per person with a minimum fee of $140. About 15-20 minutes.

Bee Education- Learn the fascinating role bees play in our ecosystem and how they help our farm thrive. This interactive program provides insights into pollination and the importance of protecting these tiny workers. Each student will be able to select a honey stick to take home/sample. $6 per person with a minimum fee of $120. About 20-30 minutes.

Berry Education - (When in season) Students will learn how we grow and care for our delicious berries. From planting to harvesting, we’ll share everything you need to know. $6 per person with a minimum fee of $120. About 20-30 minutes.

Pumpkin Education - (Mid-September-October) In the fall, our farm is full of festive fun—including plenty of pumpkins! Students will learn how pumpkins grow and have to opportunity to sample pumpkin seed. $6 per person with a minimum of $120. About 10-15 minutes. If you would like to take home pie size pumpkins, the pumpkins are $6 each.
