Farmhand – Part Time

 

Driving Wind Farm is a family-friendly farm and café offering fresh produce, plants, baked goods, and seasonal events. We’re looking for a reliable, hard-working Farmhand to join our team and help keep the farm running smoothly year-round.

 

About the Position:
The Farmhand will assist with daily farm operations, including animal care, mowing, plant maintenance, and other tasks as assigned. This role requires someone who enjoys working outdoors in all types of weather, is comfortable around animals, and can handle physical labor.

 

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor

• Feed, water, and care for farm animals

• Mow lawns and maintain farm grounds

• Plant, water, weed, and tend to crops, flowers, and shrubs

• Assist with farm maintenance and repairs as needed

• Help with seasonal farm events and activities

• Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service and promote a positive work environment

• Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

• Previous farm, landscaping, or animal care experience preferred

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

• Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor

• Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to learn

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
